1. Be responsible for the Quality manual and make amendments when necessary2. Call Audit Evaluation Meetings3. Periodically review the Quality Manual to ensure it adequately supports the high4. operational standards required, particularly in light of new legislation5. Maintain an audit schedule ensuring all necessary internal and external audits are conducted according to a 12 month rolling schedule.6. Compile departmental audit checklists7. Carry out audits or nominate company auditors to perform audits in accordance with the audit schedule8. Following the audit procedure, prepare a report on the form provided and send it to the departmental manager. Discuss with him what follow up action is required by the company to rectify any faults found during the audit9. Follow up audit findings and ensure that all responsible managers comply with deficiencies in the shortest time possible10. Complete operational audits as a means of achieving effective management of safety and quality of outsourced functions11. Ensure all third party contractors have a current agreement with the company that includes or references measurable specifications that can be monitored by the Quality Management System to ensure requirements that affect the safety and security of operations is being fulfilled12. File all audit reports once closed and ensure they are kept, together with all forms and correspondence in connection with the quality audit for not less than 2 years following the audit
