Hired to provide leadership and management for the totality of the IT infrastructure, operations, and maintenance throughout the enterprise in support of the agency goals to ensure quality, efficiency, and agility.Appointed to oversee the entire IT infrastructure, operations, and maintenance, aligning with agency objectives of quality, efficiency, and agility. During my tenure, a strong partnership was cultivated with the CIO of Virginia Commonwealth, and leadership was assumed in one of the Commonwealth's Relationship Management Committee (RMC) groups. Collaborating with the DBHDS CISO, IT efforts were unified across twelve hospitals and the central office, ensuring legislative security compliance, and fostering an enterprise approach. Introduced a streamlined ticketing system, dramatically reducing project task response time (from 60 to 13 hours) and break-fix incident response time (from 53 to 6 hours), while also establishing an IT Change Advisory Board (CAB) for governing production application and data management changes. Alongside the management of a $24 million budget, led a cross-functional team in the delivery of secure, efficient services spanning server and application management, web development, workspace collaboration, and end-user support. Additionally, a cost-effective modernization shift to Power BI as the agency's visualization platform was orchestrated, saving over $1 million and enhancing data accessibility for better decision-making.
