Working as a member of the Finmeccanica Cyber Solutions team selected in February 2012 to fulfil the NATO Computer Incident Response Capability (NCIRC) – Full Operating Capability (FOC) requirement. NCIRC FOC will provide an agile, flexible and interoperable solution featuring advanced cyber defence systems to protect NATO static commands, crisis operations, NATO signal battalions, Article V Operations and the NATO Reaction Force from cyber attack.Responsible for providing network expertise to various networking related issues including migration, VPN over WAN, design, centralised network management and BAU to the project.Use of the following equipments and technologies on a daily basis.Cisco catalyst 3750 & 6506 switchesCisco Nexus 7009 data centre switchPalo Alto 5050 and 5020 FirewallJuniper SRX 3400 and 550 Solar winds NPM, NTA, NCMJunos SpaceDesign, implementation and troubleshooting of large migration project from Interim Operating Capability to Full Operating Capability. Involved migrating services and servers that supported users based at different Worldwide sites. Converting some servers from physical to virtual and manipulating the infrastructure accordingly. Working on complex routing and switched solutions to migrate some services while maintaining maximum availability and minimising downtime and disruption to end users.

Responsible for every network related decision on site. Support 3 campus networks encompassing VoIP and data. Also support smaller independent networks and implement solutions for end user problems.

Worked on enterprise level network environments. Responsible for building and maintaining networks to the design team standard. Providing feedback on designs and helping to implement changes. Day to day role was customer facing helping troubleshoot for users across various enterprise networks.Involved in helping application teams test applications on the network before the application was released to a live environment. This involved making various network changes to firewalls, vlans, etc.Also worked closely with the test team to make any required changes to network designs in order to bring them up to test pass standard before being released.
