Technology Lead and on-site co-ordinator at Atradius. My role is very customer focused with continuous interaction between Infosys team members and Atradius IT staff and business representatives. I also co-ordinate and lead a development team located offshore in India.Mentor junior members, deliver estimates for work packages as well as being hands on with system design and coding. Delivered small enhancement work bundles as well as the design and development of a new system for Account Management. The latter is a very large, green field project with several screens implementing over 200 pages of use case specifications and business requirements.Responsibility for the systems relating to CRM namely Account Management, Contact Management, Sales and Marketing, including a large scale data warehouse and interfaces with SAS Marketing Automation software.

Dutch owned international company providing credit insurance and collection services. I am currently employed as a Senior Lead Developer in UK Head Quarters, office in CardiffResponsible for the design and build of a Marketing system using SAS Marketing Automation (Campaign Studio) for marketing campaign management. The project also requires the design and build of an underlying large scale data warehouse for storage of organisation and contact details used by the SAS MA software. In addition the implemented SAS software is interfaced to the existing Atradius internal systems. During this project I have worked very closely and formed very good relationships with systems analysts and representatives across various areas of the business responsible for the internal systems. I have also worked very closely with SAS technical and business consultants. During the early requirements gathering stages of this project I have co-led workshops attended by marketing business representatives, business analysts and SAS analysts to ensure involvement and guide requirements at a very early stage. As Lead Developer my technical expertise is also required as input to project planning and estimates. I am responsible for managing a team of senior developers to ensure that work is resourced and progressed effectively.I have worked heavily with SAS Information Map Studio to design and build information maps for the implementation of SAS Campaign Studio across 12 countries. The implementations have differed in requirements per country. Rollout to all countries has been very successful and well received by the end users. Oracle RDBMS features such as table partitioning and use of materialised views have been implemented very successfully and have led to very good performance and response time in the SAS Campaign Studio application. The underling data warehouse contains over 30 million organisation records each with associated contacts.

As the Lead Developer on this project I was responsible for the design, development and implementation of a new Sales application to support the global Sales business processes. This system was a green field development and my first major project as under the Lead Developer role. I co-led requirement gathering workshops in early project stages to guide requirements and understand business drivers. This enabled me to formulate a design and set of functionality that would deliver the requirements. I was responsible for technical design specifications that were created by my team and I.The user interface was built using Oracle Forms and incorporated with interfaces to Microsoft excel and word for automated document generation. The design of the screen were forward thinking, utilising hierarchical tree structures and context sensitive filtering to achieve a very easy to use powerful application.The project was run in an iterative manner with a number of build and delivery phases. As Lead Developer I had a great deal of influence on how the project phases where to be delivered. I was responsible for managing a team of developers to ensure the project was resourced and progressed effectively.The end result was a system with a low level of defects and change requests with a high level of user acceptance. The system was very well received.

During my first post at Atradius I worked as a senior developer as part of a team responsible for enhancements and maintenance of the internal CRM application.During this role I was primarily involved in enhancing the functionality and performance of the application. The application was designed to be used by Customer Service Centre representatives whilst on the phone to external customers and as such needed to perform transactions instantly.The application has been rolled out to all departments within the Atradius business to record all Customer interactions. It is deemed very successful and performs very well.

CGI Group (Europe) is the UK subsidiary of Canadian based corporation CGI. CGI supply IT services from infrastructure and hardware support, to application development and maintenance. At CGI I progressed from Junior Oracle Developer to Technical Team Leader primarily developing and implementing the insurance software solution known as GIOS - Generic Insurance Open Solution.Responsibility for the technical design, development and implementation of functional components of a new template tailored to healthcare insurance for the GIOS insurance solution. I also held responsibility for overall system performance and tuning of the implementation. This involved monitoring, identifying, logging and resolving issues relating to performance of the system. In addition I was in control of the system release and upgrade process.
