Responded to 9-1-1 emergency calls for Rutland, MA and surrounding towns, as well coordinated, designed and presented regular training classes for members of the Fire, EMS and Police departments

• Created sales and weather database to track and analyze weather impacts on electricity usage, resulting in more accurate forecasts and better company use of resources.
• Forecasted electricity demand by using SAS to analyze past usage data of residential, commercial, and industrial customers in MA, RI and NH.

• Generated supporting reports for forecasting, rating and liability analysis, which increased the accuracy of those functions, thus saving the company time and money.
• Developed a customized rating application that decreased the time needed by several departments (Marketing, Underwriting and Actuarial) to complete the rating process.
• Calculated quarterly Blue Shield rates and documented the process to the Division of Insurance, which aided the approval process and improved the company’s standing with that regulatory agency.
• Developed a statistical regression model that drastically cut the time needed to forecast “unpaid claims liability”, which improved accuracy and saved the company money.
