I am a creative thinker and established leader who loves to innovate. For the past seven years, I have conducted engineering tasks in areas ranging from software-defined radio, implementing and improving algorithms, deriving requirements and processes for UAS software development, web application development, UI design and implementation, and test and verification of virtualized systems. Through my professional opportunities, I have developed a consistent and methodical approach to ensure the successful development and evaluation of software and systems. A key component of this approach is leading and collaborating with cross-functional, geographically dispersed teams. I am experienced in developing and leading teams and creating an environment that facilitates high performance while embracing diverse perspectives. In addition, I have mentored and taught my coworkers in career advocacy, software engineering design patterns, and software testing methodology. Recently, I completed my Masters in Cybersecurity. My cybersecurity coursework has been focused on honing my skills for AI/ML projects and includes AI, ML, deep learning, reinforcement learning, and self-guided research into quantum computing and homomorphic encryption; all of which I am excited to include in the progression of my career. I also aim to innovate and develop new technology, lead projects and teams, and strive to be a part of a team that challenges me to constantly improve.
