Job Purpose The Sales Desk Director's overall responsibility is to create and sustain a top performing sales environment operating at the highest level of integrity and compliance. This will be accomplished through the consistent development of highly qualified and motivated Internal Wholesalers. Essential Job Duties & ResponsibilitiesTraining Internal Wholesalers through the utilization of the JNLD MBA ModelServe as a resource to the National Sales Desk while acting as a liaison with various departments with Jackson including but not limited to: New Business Units, Licensing, Commissions, Broker Services Management, Product Management, and MarketingProvide operational and sales support, sales coaching, and motivation to their teams. This process will include building sales presentations and teaching territory management skillsDevelop associates for successful career advancements to External Wholesaler, NSD Management, or other Jackson positionsProvide periodic development reviews for Internal Wholesalers that evaluate performance objective and core competenciesMonitor sales calls to observe Internal Wholesaler's demeanor, technical accuracy, sales ability, appointment quality, compliance and adherence to company policiesPerform miscellaneous special tactical and strategic projects as assigned by management

Responsible for finding, prospecting, and harvesting producing representatives to increase revenue of Jackson products throughout the given territory. This is accomplished through a consultative sales approach providing financial insight and product information via the telephone, so representatives can effectively offer Jackson products to their clients.

Job Purpose The Internal Wholesaler works within the corporate environment and is partnered with an External Wholesaler in a geographical sales territory. This individual is responsible for partnering with an External Wholesaler, creating new and managing existing relationships with representatives to increase revenue of Jackson products throughout the given territory. This is accomplished through a consultative sales approach providing financial insight and product information via the telephone, so representatives can effectively offer Jackson products to their clients. This position requires an individual that has a sales focus with excellent phone skills, strong work ethic and a competitive drive to succeed.
