Lead a major cultural change in the engineering and security teams. From full disengagement to a very engaged (+10p over company average, +6p over industry average) and talented engineering team. We grew it from 50 to 170 people with an emphasis on diversity in decision-making positions. We lead the way to a fully remote workforce when it was still a choice, and lead the business continuity team when COVID hit. We created and nurtured a culture of innovation, empowerment, and autonomy. Our teams did 8 weeks of hackathons a year, an amazing source of product ideas of which 30% ended in production. Our frictionless platform focused on developer autonomy and enabled each engineer to deploy, on average, twice a day with a mere 5% change failure rate. My team also bootstrapped and lead the security department, pivoting Typeform's security position from non-existing to the main enterprise offering asset. Achieved ISO 27001, SOC2.2, and HIPAA certifications. All while incrementing the company's business ARR from 18M to 80M and closing a 135M Series C funding round.
