My job is Develope digital electronic boards, part of complex systems used for CMM. From an idea of the marketing, I write a product specification, I select and identify the electronics comp., test them on prototipe, design the system on electronic cad, develope the digital i.c. and fit them in programmable dev. as fpga or cpld (Xilinx) , follow the test and the development of the printed circuit board from third suppliers, I follow the assemblage of the same and I directly test it to verify if it respects the initial specifications. Subsequently I write, or I specify and I follow the writing, of the firmware for Microcontrollers, the most proper language (assembler, C, visual basic), I write the test procedures of the system, and I support the software group and production, both with consultations and with tests and technical interventions, for the correct and profitable use of the hardware system.Today I'm working around Reliability and Safety of our electronics systems, FMEA, firmware safety and more.
