Pauwlina Graduated with a BSc. in Pharmacy from Dalhousie University after obtaining a BSc. in Honours Biochemistry from the University of New Brunswick, and pursued graduate studies from the University of New Brunswick and University of Guelph. She has always endeavoured to be at the forefront of health care change and promotion, beginning as a staff pharmacist and then later as a pharmacy owner and operations executive as well as leader within Pharmacy regulatory organizations. Pauwlina served as President Elect of the New Brunswick College of Pharmacists, as well as on the National Association of Pharmacy Regulatory Authorities (NAPRA) Board of Directors. In addition to the profession of pharmacy, Pauwlina is passionate about prematurity awareness and served on the Board of Directors for the Canadian Premature Babies Foundation. She is currently pursuing a degree in medicine with anticipated completion in 2023. While in medical school at the University of Calgary Cumming School of Medicine, Pauwlina served as the Senior Government Affairs and Advocacy Representative, as well as the Family Medicine Clinical Student Representative. Now, during her residency program, she serves as the Family Medicine delegate on the PARA assembly. Pauwlina practices purposeful resilience by training for and racing in triathlons in an effort to live a healthy active lifestyle and lead by example. She has earned Canadian age-group IronMan All World Athlete Status 2017, 2018, 2019, 2020. She has been sponsored as an athlete ambassador for a performance nutrition company during the 2018/2019 racing seasons.
