I was employed to monitor commercial and residential consumer’s use of Electricity and Gas. My duties included driving along a route and record the usage readings on meters internally and externally. I carried out safety checks, capturing data accurately, inspecting meters for defects and monitoring for abnormal usage volume or tampering that may indicate unlawful usage. I would book inspections times, confirm appointments and make re-appointments. I also interacted with customers in a calm and professional manner and worked towards achieving targets and results set by the company.
