Current1. Competent Train pilot:• Train Pilot for Mumbai Metro line 1 covering Section of 11.4 KM Versova – Andheri – Ghatkopar operated on 25000V 1 phase AC.• Drive passenger trains to destination.• Ensure safety of passengers on board, Follow appropriate signal instructions and keep in constant touch with the control room.• Make necessary troubleshooting in train if any problem occurs while driving.• Helping to check the effectiveness of the brakes.• Recognizing and identifying technical and operational faults and unusual incidents and when required inspecting carriages for damage and defects protecting the train and summoning assistance.• Rectifying minor faults and taking steps to initiate repair role in the event of more serious faults.• Competent Diesel locomotive for shunting purpose in depot.• Clear and effective verbal communication skills, to pass on information to and from the OCC, via radiophones.• Observe tracks to detect obstacles.• Respond to emergency conditions or breakdowns following applicable rules.• Knowledge of GR (Metro railway general rule, 2013).• Knowledge of rule book, SOP (Standard Operating Procedure).2. Crew controller:• Acting team leader for the shift to make sure all train pilots are acknowledging their trains on time.• Worked as crew controller crew management on line.• Ensure that staff follows safety instructions in accordance to the company’s protocols.• Carry out Sign ON and Sign OFF of Train Pilots.• Responsible for Asset, Record, Document management of train pilots.3. Assistant OCC controller (pre COD):• Knowledge of PTW process includes granting, approval and authorization.• Assistance to OCC controller for managing station as well as train movement activities. • Knowledge of phonetics language.
