At PracticeDilly we are working on building several cloud-based software/services like appointment reminder software, patient feedback collection software and a patient mobile app (MyDocApp).Appointment reminder software supports reminder notifications through email, sms and automated voice calls, and the patient mobile app provides several self services like appointment create, reschedule requests, insurance card update and bill payment etc.- Involved in the project setup, architecture, design and implementation of appointment reminder, patient feedback softwares, and user interfaces for doctor office staff.- Developed several REST based web services that are used by the mobile app (MyDocApp) for the purpose of appointment creation, reschedule, insurance card upload and bill payment etc.- Creating and maintaining production-level EC2 instances in AWS. I was responsible for exploring several products and services of AWS and made use of services like S3, Elastic Beanstalk, RDS, CodeCommit, SQA and IAM.- I was responsible for developing the infrastructure code around payment processing, integrated with Stripe payment gateway API for maintaining payment plans, subscription creation, ApplePay and credit card processing.- Lead and mentor a team of several Java engineers, UI and iOS developer. As a senior engineer I have helped the team with project architecture, design decisions, and code reviews.- Used Test Driven Development (TDD) approach in writing test cases making using of JUnit and JMock. Achieved over 95% code coverage with unit tests.

Connexity operates a portfolio of shopping web sites, with greatest experience as a price comparison service. I have worked on adding new features to the consumer facing websites bizrate.com, beso.com and shopzilla.com. All the back end services and applications are developed using Java/J2EE and related open source technologies.- Involved in the design and implementation of extreme makeover project, where the legacy system written in PHP was migrated to J2EE based application.- I was the architect and one of the senior engineers in building a brand new adserver and integrating the ad-retargeting technology throughout all the Connexity brands.- Developed a product prospecting application which helps the clients in bringing their on-sale, best products dynamically into the ads served by connexity ad platform. This type of prospecting has helped achieved better CTR than ad-retargeting ads.- Designed and developed several back-end micro services like session, scrapbook, user profile and product reviews that are used by the consumer facing websites.- Lead and mentor a team of 5 Java engineers, which involves helping with code reviews, design decisions and related technical issues.- As part of our 10% projects I have developed a mock service that helps the QA engineers to mock the responses of several back-end services that are used by the customer facing websites.- Made use of Cucumber and Fitnesse for writing acceptance tests for some of the micro services, JUnit and JMock for writing the unit tests.

At Docuthentic we worked on developing an online (www.vaultstreet.com) financial record-keeping system. Vaultstreet services include automated online financial document collection, authentication of document originality, centralized records retention, and the ability to share documents with a network of trusted third party advisors.- Involved in developing UI, business, data access classes of the use cases Contact Management, Document Search, Account Management of the web application.- In developing VaultStreet web app and collector web app, made use of Spring framework’s features like Spring MVC, AOP for declarative transaction management and exception handling, Scheduling and Thread pooling etc.- Used Test Driven Development (TDD) approach in writing test cases making using of JUnit and EasyMock. Achieved over 95% code coverage with tests.

At 21st Century Insurance Group I worked on Policy Self Service (eservices) application, which is an online portal used by customers to maintain their auto insurance policies. This application contains functionalities for Add Driver/Remove Driver, Add Vehicle/Remove Vehicle, Change Coverage, and Update Contact Info etc.- Worked on preparing the design document for Remove Vehicle and Add Vehicle use cases, which includes Sequence diagrams, Flow charts and Pseudo code.- Involved in developing the Coverage Renderers/Tag libraries for generating the HTML content for display in Change Coverage flow. The HTML content to be displayed is state/product specific; coverage renderers would take care on generating this dynamic content. - Developing the Action classes and JSP pages using the Struts framework and Tag Libs for my use cases.- Involved in coding, debugging and unit testing of my use cases and also helped in executing the test cases of my use cases.

At L.L.Bean I was involved in developing Payment Authorization application. The newly developed system authorizes Gift Certificates, Credit Cards, Coupons and Gift Cards with the ability to authorize multiple payments in a single transaction. ISD payment management software was used to interact with the visa/amex/master card for Credit Card and Gift Card authorizations.- Worked on interacting with ISD switch for Visa/Amex/MasterCard authorizations. Developed the code for the 3 types of authorizations like normal authorization, reversal and incremental authorizations for Credit Card and Gift Card.- Implemented caching of objects functionality using Tangosol, to access frequently used data, and wrote write-behind classes to write data from the cache to DB.- Also, involved in writing Acceptance Tests using the Wiki Fitnesse tool for the Credit Card, Gift Certificate, Coupon and Gift Card use cases.
