I am a passionate and dedicated social development professional with a Master's degree in Social Work, specializing in community organization and development practice, from the prestigious Tata Institute of Social Sciences in Mumbai. As a First Generation Learner, my journey in social work is driven by a deep commitment to empowering marginalized communities and fostering sustainable development.With hands-on experience at the Watershed Organisation Trust in Pune, I have been working as a junior researcher, leading the development of baseline and endline tools, conducting data collection training, and performing comprehensive data analysis and impact assessment report writing. My responsibilities also included assisting in managing projects, field visits, community engagement and ensuring the seamless execution of ongoing projects.Year back as a Project coordinator at Chaupal Gramin Vikas Prashikshan Evam Shodh Sansthan in Ambikapur, Chhattisgarh, I worked to implement project, I conducted regular field visits to monitor project progress. My efforts included organizing meetings with staff to understand their concerns, maintaining comprehensive project documentation, and facilitating effective reporting to donors and stakeholders. I focused on enhancing local governance mechanisms and improving access to essential services for tribal communities in Chhattisgarh. In Nagpur, I worked with children with disabilities, ensuring they received essential support and resources to improve their quality of life and right too education. During my academic fieldwork with esteemed organizations such as Prakriti Resource Centre for Women & Development, Manav Vikas Foundation, and Aspire India, I learned as a fresher from various community development projects.As an academic mentor at Eklavya Foundation and Nalanda Academy, I guided students from marginalized backgrounds in securing admissions to premier institutions across India.My expertise spans research and social impact assessment, community advocacy, project coordination, and corporate social responsibility. I am proficient in MS Excel and MS Office, as well as research tools like Open Data Kit (ODK) and KoboToolBox, and skilled in report writing and documentation.
