Project DescriptionGE Aviation Services AMPS project initiative will replace the 22-year legacy system (ISSES) that controls the Order-to-Remittance process for GE Aviation's Commercial, Military, and Aero Energy Spare parts businesses. Oracle's e-Business Suite has been selected and the AMPS initiative will be rolled out in multiple generations. Each project generation will target new product lines, modules, or functionality until ISSES is completely phased out. The Aviation Material Provisioning System (AMPS) will replace GE Aviation's current Spare Parts Management System, viz.
