i joined Department Of Atomic Energy as scientific Officer on sep 2008.Then after one year of rigirous training program now i am working in Safety Engineering Division,Safety Group.The work is dedicated to all country men.Currently I am working in research for the water hammer phenomenon and i will have to develope fluid structure interaction code to validate the safety criteria and to fulfill our safety concerns related to Prototype Fast Breeder Reactor which is under construction at Kalpakkam site in Tamilnadu.If anybody intrested, requred any scintific knowledge on this field.i will help up to my level.

I am working at IGCAR, DAE Govt. of India, for past four years in the field of safety research of the Fast Breeder Reactor (FBR). Steam generator of FBR is a heat exchanger in which tube side there is water and shell side, sodium. There are possibilities of sodium-water reaction due to tube failure which leads formation of hydrogen. The hydrogen may create explosion and there could be structural integrity problem of steam generator and piping connected to it. The scope of the research is to develop numerical code for simulating sodium-water reactor in steam generator of FSR. The code validation is planned with the available experimental results of published research papers. Benchmark experimental set up (s) are begin designed for multi physics experiments which are under progress. In near future the centre is going to be representing world class laboratory in the research of Fluid-Structure Interaction research.
