The following gives the summary of my research experience.1) Working on fabricating quantum devices based on thin-film Lithium Niobate. The fabrication involves state of the art tools such as electron beam lithography, ion-beam etchers, focused ion-beam SEM, Atomic force microscopy and lot more high end tools2) Developed a nano-second electro-optic tunable optical parametric oscillator (OPO) coherent light source. The highlight of this work is that, this OPO has the largest tuning range (1.4~1.75 µm) till date among all the electro-optic tunable light sources. This work is currently in the publication stage. 2) OPO which could oscillate at two orthogonally different wavelengths simultaneously was also developed. This feature of the OPO is the first of its kind till date. This work is currently in the publication stage.3) I was also involved in Second harmonic generation (SHG) and difference frequency generation (DFG) experiments using pico-second laser to find the ratio of nonlinear coefficients. The results of this work were published in Current Optics and Photonics journal.4) I was also involved in generation of blue light via third harmonic generation (THG) using organic thin films using femto-second lasers. This work was published in Scientific reports.5) I was also involved in projects which include testing of nonlinear frequency converters using continuous wave (CW). The results of this work were published in Applied Physics journal.6) During my master’s, I was into thin film fabrication and characterization project using cerium oxide. These results of this study were published in Journal of alloys and compounds.
