He has over 20 years of experience in the banking industry, specializing in RegTech, regulatory compliance, and risk reporting. For the past 8 years, he has been a key member of Vermeg.He heads the Product Management department at Vermeg for APAC, overseeing the company's Regulatory and Risk solutions in the APAC region, i.e. Singapore, Hong Kong, Australia and Thailand etc. His diverse roles and responsibilities encompass Program Management, Product Strategy, Budget Management, Risk Management, Senior Stakeholder Engagement, Vendor Engagement, Conflict Resolution, Coaching & Mentoring, and Industry Presentations etc.As a product program manager, he played a key role in successfully delivering many major regulatory programs in the region : MAS 610 in Singapore, EFS in Australia, GDR in Hong, , Derivative transaction reporting, Basel3 reforms to name a few.He is a subject matter expert in Financial & Risk related reporting regulations applicable to banks and financial institutions, as prescribed by different regulators in APAC region i.e. Singapore, Hong Kong, Australia, Thailand, India. He has also worked on deliveries related to Basel 3 regulations (Credit risk, Market risk, Op risk), ALM, Derivative transaction reporting. In recent years, he is also involved with ESG reporting requirements for Financial institutions.He is not just a Banking regulations compliance expert; he is a passionate advocate for progress in the RegTech industry. He is a member of various RegTech/FinTech associations and volunteers for discussions and to help improve innvotion in the industry. His foresight and technical prowess were instrumental in designing the granular data collection program for MAS 610 for Singapore. He also played a key role in in delivering other major regulatory solutions to banking clients elsewhere in Asia-Pacific, including the Economic and Financial Statistics (EFS) program in Australia, the Granular Data Reporting program in Hong Kong.Before joining Vermeg, he worked at different international banks including Barclays, Credit Suisse, and Citi bank, with his primary focus on Financial, Risk & transaction reporting. Notably, his extensive experience and proficiency in navigating the regulatory landscape has allowed him to successfully collaborate with the industry and work on various reporting requirements published by various industry regulators like APRA, MAS, HKMA, BOT etc.
