The main aim of the project is to design the Horizontal stabilizer for the Helicopter which as sufficient tendency to produce the required nose pitch up moment. The slats are employed as an addon device to increase the lift and drag on the stabilizer which intern contribute in counteracting the nose pitch down moment of the Helicopter.

The intention of the project is to size the pressure regulating valve of a Transonic wind tunnel which does the work of maintaining the pressure in the test section and the settling chamber and the aim is to calculate the area of the PRV to be kept open in order to achieve the intended pressure in the stipulated time.
