• Leading, training and mentoring of a team size of 25 Material Engineer/ Materials Officer. • Managing Procurement, Supply Planning, Capacity Planning, Inventory management & for Galfar projects.• Preparing business plan for the project regarding project material /sub-contract item as well as capital expenditure.• Coordination with the project team in defining and developing the scope of Procurement plan, procedures, schedules, estimates, forecasts, and budgets.• Prepare material procurement timeline (MPT) based on project master schedule, procurement strategy and market situation & submit to EVP through project manager.• Updating of Master list with respect to Inventory control including updating of location, Re-Order/Max./Min. Level, Delivery lead time. • Conducting commercial negotiation and conclude on techno commercial requirements.• Manual stock replenishment of any additional requirement advised.• Identified potential shortages and ensuring that corrective action is taken by the relevant department by monitoring material deliveries against PND (Project Need Date). Optimize store holding in order to face with the reduction in storage space.• Managing day–to-day interaction with vendors and monitor vendor’s performance after completion of the project with respect to quality, schedule, deliverables, service, and performance.• End to End Supply Chain Management• Account Management: Managed cost related aspects of part design changes, production process changes, compensation claims, implemented refinements to material operations & streamlined processes to achieve dramatic cycle time savings.

Handling the responsibility for purchasing material from local market through supplier.Responsible for purchase of material, preparing MRS, get price quote from suppliers.Making comparison table of received quotation from domestic/overseas suppliers.Release the purchase order to the most suitable supplier recommended by the authorised person.Sending the shipping information to the respective branch office and requesting them to send the original shipping document on the basis of information provided by us before vessel arrival on the port.Managing custom clearance process & checking shipping document on arrival (Legalized/Not Legalized) and other document before submission.Constantly chasing shipment through internet or their representative until shipment reach on destination.Looking after shipping document distribution (Original B/L – Shipping Agent, Copy B/L+Original (Invoice+P/List+C/O – Custom house).Following up with concern department until container come out.Uploading container’s on site & receiving the various material on site as per packing list.Checking and accepting the material received after due verification for quantity and quality.Importing heavy equipments (New & Transfer) from overseas and registering the equipments when it reaches the host country.
