As a Strategic Supply Management Specialist i collaborate with cross- functional teams to implement and maintain supply strategies and supplier relationships to support current production and new product programs for Turf Care, Large Tractor, Baling & Mowing products.1. Lead and support negotiations with the supply base, ensuring the Company meets overall goals for cost, quality and continuity of supply.2. Organize and lead continuous improvement in terms of supplier relationships, performance and lowest total cost with the supply base utilizing Achieving Excellence criteria and other supply management tools.3. Develop and maintain strong collaborative relationships with cross- functional team members to influence and align on future product needs.4. Support the Engineering Change Management (ECM) process so design changes and product improvements are implemented in a timely and cost- effective manner.5. Identify & execute Cost reduction Projects to meet PDP AFE cost & Structural cost reduction of OFP machines.6. Lead Specific commodity buying to implement & maintain supply base plan strategy and support supplier relationship as PDP buyer for new product development programs.

Supply Chain Management (Buyer)

Working as a Spot Buyer for NAFTA Region main Responsibility is to Manage all Expedite freight request received from plants by coordinating with the Freight Forwarders and ensure that all the shipment Moving or transferring to consignee on timely basis.RFQ Creation & Selection of freight Forwarders for each freight request received from plants.We identify logistics areas for Process improvement and Cost savings to ensure expectations are met.Evaluate existing capabilities and establish new systems and processes in order to standardize logistics functions.Communicate with or monitor service providers, such as ocean carriers, air freight forwarders, global consolidators, customs brokers, or trucking companiesProvide standard and comprehensive reports to customer Like Daily Shipment report, Freight Expanse Report to Management.Track & Trace of all the shipments moving across the globe as well as analysis of the performance of the Freight Forwarders.Responsible for documenting the transition process maps for current and new process.Standardization of Material Handling & Packaging Process.Audit Freight Invoices against the Quote or Tariff so as to identify the additional cost occurred due to any fault in process.

Ensure material receipt & issue to production line. Analyzing transit damage cases & resolving it.Defining proper location, address system & space for all material required as per station wise assembly.Ensure storage of material as per stacking norms. Ensure stock rotation / FIFO / identification and disposal of non-conforming, non-moving parts.Rejection booking of damage material and cost saving improvement.Monitoring material availability as per daily production. Communicating with Buyers and vendors for material shortage. Ensuring material availability to production as per BOM / Build cards by JIS, KANBAN, as per inventory norms etc. & avoiding down time with proper control on logistics process.Coordinating with Manufacturing, Materials, Vendor Development QA/ ERC/ TS/ System VQA for daily & monthly production planMonitoring & controlling material delivery through Third party logistics provider (TPLP), defining window timing as per requirement.Monitoring Issue Booking, Analyze reprocessing list through SAP (MM) module. Interacting with PPC for day wise & monthly production plan.Interacting with supplier for Logistics improvement, packaging improvement, inventory management etc. Conducting audit on daily basis of shop and material receipt.Ensure good 5S in entire shop.Creating awareness among team members regarding material handling, 5S, material storing, WCQ, TQM, Safety, FIFO by given training to them.Preparing MIS report.Monitoring material reconciliation.
