As a Data Engineer II at a real estate investment firm, I contribute to managing a multibillion-dollar commercial mortgage portfolio by driving data solutions that support every stage of the real estate investment lifecycle. My role involves onboarding commercial clients and residential partners, ensuring seamless integration into our vertically integrated platform, which spans asset origination, real estate analytics, investment closing, project inspection and construction review, primary and special servicing, and asset management. Collaborating closely with directors and stakeholders, I align data engineering initiatives with business objectives to streamline processes, enhance decision-making, and ensure the scalability and accuracy of our data systems. At Common Securitization Solutions (CSS), a company that manages housing finance data, At CSS, my goal was to design a serverless ETL architecture to migrate and manage housing data from 1999 to the present, moving it from Legacy Oracle to Snowflake. This involved creating a staging architecture in Snowflake to efficiently handle raw data before transformation and integration into the consumption warehouse (final stage), and implementing role-based access control (RBAC) and column-level security within the staging layer.This resulted in a streamlined and secure data migration process, improving data accessibility and integrity, and enhancing our ability to provide accurate and timely information to the business team.

Emblem Health is a healthcare provider focused on delivering affordable, quality health coverage. We developed an application called Maestro to provide comprehensive insurance information for members, brokers, providers, and employees, including details about various plans like PPO, HMO, EPO, POS, HDHP, CDHP, Medicare, Medicaid, Catastrophic Plans, Dual Special Needs Plans (D-SNPs). Our end customers are Customer Service Representatives (CSRs). As a data engineer, I created and managed data infrastructure, automated processes, and generated reports to support business decisions. This work was conducted across multiple languages, including English, Spanish, and Mandarin. At State Farm, I worked with the Mars team to manage and transfer insurance data to the DMV using PCF and AWS. As a Data Engineer, I handled data migration from Teradata to Snowflake, developed SQL scripts, and set up Snowflake security. I also integrated data into Tableau, led the migration to a microservices architecture with Spring Cloud and AWS, and managed Kubernetes clusters. My work improved data handling, security, and integration across platforms.
