I am highly motivated and interested in securing a Co-op or an internship position.As a computer science major, I am proficient in data structures, algorithms and software development in general. Through extensive programming experience and a rigorous curriculum at RIT, I have developed a knack for object-oriented programming in Java and computational problem solving in Python wherein I have worked on a broad variety of applications. I have strengthened my cognitive ability and analytical skills with a fusion of functional and technical expertise working on mission critical projects for clients from the IT and Finance industry through my past experience. In my experience working with Infosys, I have worked with cross-functional teams to strategically solve defects and issues on the client’s web application in an agile manner. I have also led audits on internal financial control frameworks and change management.During my under-graduation, I had developed several applications such as an image search engine, a lane detection system, and a face recognition system by feature and color extraction using content-based image retrieval technique in image processing. Based on these projects, I published 2 papers in international journals in the computer vision domain. Currently, I am experimenting over a wide variety of detection and tracking based applications in computer vision. I am also working towards developing mobile applications on Android platform.I believe that a blend of my technical and soft skills make me a suitable candidate for a Software Developer/Engineer/Consultant position at your firm.
