Presently I am working with Sembcorp Gulf O & M Co. Ltd (A wholly Owned subsidiary of Sembcorp Industries, Singapore) at Fujairah UAE as a Performance Manager from January 2009 onwards. Single Drum water tube natural circulation of Horizontal type, each having capacity of 80t/hr, 67 bar & 537 degrees with Supplementary Duct Burner Firing.SIEMENS Steam Turbine NG 90/90: 2 Nos. each 119.1MW rated power Single Cylinder Centre Admission back pressure type.Doosan MULTI Stage Flash ( MSF ) : 5 Nos. each 12.5 MIGD rated water capacity.Ondeo Degremont, Reverse Osmosis ( RO ) : 37.5 MIGD rated water capacity.One No. GE Frame 9 FA+ Gas turbine with HRSG .Details of Job at Fujairah Water & Power Plant: My job as a performance Manager consists of:Plant Performance including MSF and RO.Monthly Report preparation and submitting to Owners / Government bodies.Trip Report analysis. My job as a Shift Charge was consists of following:Leading a Team of Assistant Shift Charge Engineer, Operation Engineer, Water Plant Operators, Local Operators and Fire & safety crews. Responsibility of Gas turbine, Steam turbine, MSF, RO plant Start up, Shutdown and maintaining the Plant Power and water load as per the request from ADWEA. Handling various Emergencies and trouble shooting major problems like 132 kV Evacuation line tripping, Boiler Tube failures , tripping of Gas turbines, Steam Turbines, MSF'sDaily & Monthly report preparation, Calculation of PLF, Availability, reliability, Auxiliary Consumption, Heat Rate. Handling communications with LDC ADWEA, Transco, and Dolphin Gas for timely reporting of unit start up & tripping and forecasting for Power, Water and gas. Involvement in Tie In job with Extension Plant- DCS Tie in, Steam Lines tie in.Starting & changeover of all the equipment, like GT equipment C/O, MSF and Common Plant equipment C/O.Leading the team for implementing the economic value added (EVA) projects as part of Heat rate improvement, energy saving and chemical saving measures.

Took up the responsibility as Head of the Operation Department, Involved in preparing the Monthly Activity Schedule for operation, Running of all HT/LT auxiliaries, Preparation of Monthly reports, Managing Shift Schedule of Control room engineers/Operators, Monthly fuel reports.I was involved in Monthly Preservation & Maintenance Schedule for Electrical, Mechanical, C&I, Planning and Scheduling Quarterly/Half Yearly/Yearly Activities for Operation & Maintenance, Troubleshooting and Preventive Maintenance of Mark-V, DCS, PLC's, 400 kV Switchyard and balance of plant. I was also involved in Coordinating with various Vendors/External Agencies.I was assisting Indian lenders, NTPC, BHEL for restarting the dabhol power project. Active Involvement in GE Dabhol Revitalization Study.

I worked three and half month in Colombo Sri Lanka, for the Project Planning/Commissioning of AES Kelanitissa 165 MW combined cycle power plant, consists of 1GT Frame 9E of 110 MW & STG of 55 MW. I was involved in the Alkali flushing/Alkali Boil out of HRSG.I was also working as a Shift Supervisor at ONGC Gandhar site. The plant was consists of 1 GT Frame 5 of 22 MW and STG of 12 MW, CCPP with supplementary firing.My job as a Shift Supervisor was consists of:Startup, Shutdown & Operation of Gas Turbine, Steam Turbine and HRSG. I was also looking all the Electrical systems, Issuing work permits, handling emergency situations.

Executive O&M, Project Planning/Commissioning

I Worked with Enron at Dabhol site, Dabhol Power Plant was a 728 MW CCPP, consists of: - Two GE make Frame -9 FA+, Liquid /Gas fuel fired, Mark - V controlled Combustion Turbine Generators, having capacity of 230 MW each.One GE make, Mark- V controlled, SteamTurbine Generator, having capacity of 290 MW.One GE make, Mark - V controlled Frame - 6, having capacity of 35 MW for Black Start & Peaking purpose.Two Waste Heat Recovery VOGT NEM supplied, DCS Controlled boilers. Dabhol power plant was expanding its capacity from present 728 MW to 2184 MW & it includes: Four GE Frame 9 FA + gas turbines & Two Steam Turbine with HRSG's & Duct burners.I Worked with Bechtel for Project planning, scheduling activities of Phase -I. Responsible for planning, organizing, and controlling various construction/startup activities. I was also involved in the start-up & commissioning activities of Gas Turbines, Steam turbines & Balance of Plant equipment, that includes HRSG degreasing, Silence steam blowing, Fuel line flushing, Interlock logic checks, Plant capacity test. I was also involved in preparing the start-up & operating manuals of Gas Turbines, Steam Turbines & Other Auxiliary systems. My job as the Control room Engineer was consists of following:Starting & changeover of all the equipment, like boiler feed pumps, circulating water pumps, cooling tower make up pumps etc. Constant monitoring the critical parameters that may affect the performance of the plant.Normalization & Start up of the plant from 0 MW to full load after total black out.Constant monitoring of HRSG water/steam chemistry. I have knowledge of Mark V, DCS, Gas turbine/Steam turbine protections. The company was going for ISO 9001:2000 & I was actively involved in that process, I was a certified Internal auditor.My responsibility also includes Coordinating with Load Dispatch Center, State Electricity Boards, Executing various aspects of PPA

2184 MW Plant, Project Planning/Commissioning/ O&M, Start up/Commercial Operation

I worked with Gujarat Industries Power Company Ltd., which was the joint venture of GSFC, GACL, Petrofils, GEB, GAIL & Government of Gujarat.GIPCL was a 145 MW+ 160 MW gas based combined cycle power plant situated in Baroda which consists of: - 3 Gas turbines of GE make Frame - 6, Mark IV Controlled, 32 MW BHEL supplied.3 Waste Heat Recovery unfired Boiler, DCS Controlled.1 Steam turbine of 49 MW with EHTC & ATRS system for its operation.1 Gas Turbine, GE Frame -9 E, Mark - V controlled of 106 MW.1 Steam Turbine of 54 MW with Mark V controlled.Details of Job at GIPCL: I was working in Operation Dept, (Control Room) since my joining with GIPCL. My job as the Assistant Engineer was consist of following:Starting, Synchronizing, Shutdown of Turbines.Routine checking and ensuring healthiness of all the auxiliaries like fuel system, cooling water system, lube oil system, feed water system etc. to ensure the healthiness of the main plant equipment.All the electrical systems consisting of 132 kV. Switchyard, 11 kV, 6.6 kV, SF 6 & Vacuum Circuit breakers, Battery chargers etc. Handling various emergency situations like Cascade & Islanding.Analyzing and preparing the various reports related to the Plant performance & efficiency. I was also involved in the project planning, startup, pre commissioning & commissioning activities of 165 MW CCPP consisting of One Frame-9E of 110 MW and STG of 55 MW.

I did lectureship in Engineering College Sagar M.P., India. I was involved in teaching the various Electrical subjects to Final year & Pre Final year students.
