As the manager of the sports brand partnerships team, I work to creatively strategize ideas, initiatives, and sales tools to generate revenue for the Ad Sales department in FOX Sports. Working on the communications, research, and design team for SBP, I work with the 16 different sports properties that FOX Sports manages to activate various partner initiatives, build proof-of-performance reports, create material and ideas to further our team's vision, and research unique ways to tell a story detailing client activation performance.I also manage all creative sales material coming from the sports brand partnerships team at FOX. This comes from building sales deck templates for the sales team to use, to weekly client touchpoints recapping both the weekends NFL and NCAAF performances. This also includes creating visually stimulating one-sheeters to highlight key opportunities to garner client interest.Lastly, I am an activation manager for WWE Smackdown on FOX. Meeting weekly with the WWE team, we work to brainstorm strategies to work together and find new initiatives to include in the ROS and share to partners, as well as ways we can better develop relationships with our clients. I help manage day-to-day communication with partners on key activations, such as custom in-show vignettes, etc.In this role, I also manage the Coordinator on my team as a direct report to me.

Houston, Texas

As the coordinator of the corporate partnerships team at the Houston Astros, I was able to work in a bevy of different roles to help the team succeed. Firstly, I served as the day-to-day Account Manager for around 20-25 client accounts, helping fulfill all contractual needs, ranging from signage, to tickets, to fan experiences, etc. This also entailed developing a close-knit relationship with these clients and ensuring a positive experience for them. I also heavily helped the sales team in creating custom decks, sales material, digging through data and ratings to showcase initiatives, and nonstop brainstorming sessions to create new activation concepts to sell.We also met regularly with the social and digital team, to keep clients updated on ever-changing initiatives in the new age. I helped manage events, create appealing sales material, develop client relationships, and try to assist all the AM's I worked with in any possible way as the season was underway.

The Boston Bruins Foundation is a non-profit that collaborates with charitable organizations that demonstrate a commitment to health and wellness, education and athletics. The Foundation strongly believes that advocating for children and families across these areas will create a strong support system that will ultimately lead to the betterment of our community.As a graduate assistant, I performed a variety of tasks to help strengthen the foundation's mission. I also focused on the operations and financials side of the business. This includes managing and tracking of all the foundation finances. I served as the main point-of-contact for our sponsors for our events, specifically the BFit Challenge, managing all our sponsors needs from asset collection to activation. I also assisted with event-planning. I took the lead on our Boston Bruins Foundation Pan-Mass Challenge bike ride, managing over 40 riders as they raised over $475,000 for our foundation. I also took a big role in overseeing and planning our 16th Annual Golf Tournament, in which all the players, coaches, and main alumni participate, which raised over $300,000. Another big part of the position is assisting with current initiatives, events, and future planning within the foundation. This also involves social media, strategy and intervention. I managed all social media platforms, brainstormed marketing strategies, and helped develop new initiatives with my team.Lastly, I assisted with our in-game fundraising, helping manage volunteers and perform the cash reconciliation for our 50/50 raffles, and took a big lead with a new innovative technological process for our in-game auctions, together raising over $5 million for the foundation.

I helped start NBA Buzz, an NBA fan-page for the redistribution of basketball content, videos, media, and articles. Starting off as a FaceBook page, we grew the page to a fanbase over 2.3 Million likes. We have since expanded to other social media outlets, with over 153K followers on Instagram and Twitter.I post news, updates, scores, and anything necessary to engage with fans on our social media outlets. We have been at times in the top 10 in terms of the NBA FaceBook pages with the most fan engagement. With some posts reaching over 10 million views across social media platforms, we strive to create content that is creative, original, appealing, and engaging.I also serve as a staff writer articles for the page's partnership website, having written opinion stories, analysis, interviews, etc. I have been honored to have interviewed and wrote stories on former /current NBA head coaches, including Don Casey, as well as players including Pau Gasol and Grevis Vasquez. I have also started a partnership basketball podcasts, entitled “Outside The Zone,” to discuss the NBA and engage with fans on a more personal level.As the graphic designer, I create a stock of photos for key NBA players, create templates for score postings, and create avatars, profile pictures, jersey swaps, cover photos, and logos for the page. As I am not as active in posting everyday in this page, I do make designs for big moments, such as playoff final scores, big trades, and templates for other page administrators to have customize for breaking news content.

Greater Boston Area

City Year is an educational non-profit focused on providing targeted intervention to students at risk, focusing on attendance, behavior, and coursework. I was accepted into this highly selective AmeriCorps program (25% acceptance rate) to dedicate one year of service to a low-income public middle school of over 900 students focused on increasing student attendance, decreasing behavior altercations, and improving academic course performance.As an AmeriCorps Member, I served in a fourth-grade math classroom, providing both whole classroom support in collaboration with my partner teacher, and individualized support. I provided targeted intervention via tutoring support both 1:1 and in group settings. With a math coursework focus list of eight students, I had logged over 900 individual minutes allocated per student to improve math fluency and comprehension.I also provided weekly group support with four students to work on behavior management, self-regulation, social awareness, and more. Lastly, I worked closely with students that are at risk or flagged for chronic absenteeism, providing coaching for goal-oriented behavior to come to school. I regularly tracked and monitored student data in the areas of attendance, behavior and course performance to develop growth plans. In addition to these supports, I also helped manage the events and initiatives operations team for the school, planning, organizing, and implementing both school-wide, and grade-level events to celebrate student achievement. These included a school-wide field day (color day), an art show, creating a City Year Instagram presence for the school, and more. I allocated over 1100 volunteer hours in total serving as a liaison between my City Year team, leadership, partner teacher, school administration, and my students.

The Ohio State University

The Ohio Union Activities Board is the student programming organization at The Ohio State University. We strive to to provide diverse programs and events that are educational, entertaining, and thought provoking for free to the students. We programmed around 250 events a year, ranging from concerts, stand-up comedy, interactive events, visual performances, lectures, and more featuring a wide range of celebrity and inspirational talent. As the President, I led the board, oversaw the operations of the entire organization, managed the organization’s $2.1 million budget, and coordinated involvement from over 150 general members. I was in charge of managing our 12-member executive board and running executive board meetings. I coordinated 200+ program proposals, and facilitated our event voting process. I also presented budget reports and organization updated to various The Ohio State University oversight administrative departments and my advising staff. We sought to find diverse events so that all different demographics and members of campus felt spoken to and appreciated through the university. We were very happy to have had a record-setting attendance during my presidency of over 101,000 people attending our events.

Lenz Lab

I worked as an undergraduate student research assistant at the Lenz Lab at The Ohio State University. We studied how brain development is shaped by interactions between the nervous system or immune system. Additionally, we studied various factors that can impact development, and increase risk for developmental disorders. We used a variety of neuroanatomical techniques, biochemical analyses, and cell staining to research neurodevelopment. My personal research project was entitled, “Effects of neonatal microglial depletion on neonatal and adolescent neurogenesis” and we used rodent models to study. I presented this research with a poster at the 2016 mGluRs regional undergraduate neuroscience conference, in which over 37 universities participated. I also presented at The Ohio State University Denman Undergraduate Research Forum. I worked closely with my graduate advisor, Lars Nelson, primary investigator, Dr. Kathryn Lenz, and other neuroscience and psychology professors at The Ohio State University to develop procedures, analyze results, compile data, and present research.

Havener Eye Institute

Through the neuroscience department, I was selected to serve as one of five interns to the Ohio State Havener Eye Institute in Columbus OH for the 2017 Spring Semester. I gained over 150 hours of clinical shadowing of ophthalmologists across a variety of fields including anterior segment, glaucoma, retina, imaging, optometry, and neurootphalmology.

Smith-Steeb Hall

I was selected to serve as a Resident Advisor at Smith-Steeb Hall. Resident Advisors are peer leaders who supervise others living in our residence halls. They are often the first resource for others with academic, institutional, or personal questions. I supervised 50+ residents on an entire floor of the residence hall to promote and ensure student success. I planned programs throughout the year focusing on academic engagement, community development, wellness, and inclusion. For example, I planned programs focusing on race relations in sports, to a water-bottle flipping contest associated with fundraising and raising awareness for Flint, Michigan and their water crisis, to fun organic chemistry experiments with a university professor. I mediated conflicts, developed relationships, and supported residents in order to create an inclusive and productive floor community. RAs have diverse responsibilities; virtually all are tied to developing community and engaging with students to create an extraordinary experience for them at Ohio State. RAs go through an extensive training regimen and are trained in tools for engaging in difficult conversations/facilitating conflict mediation, as well as ways to grow critical thinking and problem solving skills.

Aurora, Oh

During the summer of 2014, I worked as a quality control intern at the National Biochemicals Corp., a small chemical distribution company that has since been bought by VWR, part of Avatar. I performed quality control tests on various items including dyes, inorganic salts, indicators, and other biochemicals. Many factors were tested for to ensure specifications were met including solubility, pH, water content, purity, titration results, specific rotation, and absorbance. The instruments used and studied included the UV-Vis Spectrophotometer, Polarimeter, Karl-Fischer Titrator, Fourier Transform Infrared Spectroscopy, Atomic Absorption Spectrophotometer. Data was entered into software and processed and analyzed for lab use. I performed these tests to ensure products meet customer specifications. I also analyzed data and spent three weeks to create a chemical database for the company to efficiently sort and brand products in an effective manner for sales purposes.

Hillcrest Hospital

Participated in a 9-week respiratory therapy internship as part of Cleveland Clinic's high school internship program. Conducted research that is sought to eventually be published in a medical journal. Presented research to various departments in Cleveland Clinic.
