I'm currently working at ModeliCon Infotech, Bengaluru, as Senior System Engineer and simultaneously working as a Project Manager for the SamridDHI project, sponsored by the Ministry of Heavy Industries (MHI) in collaboration with FSID, IISc, Bangalore. I have experience working on control systems, state & parameter estimation techniques, process automation, system modeling, industrial automation, electrical & electronics engineering design field, augmented reality / virtual reality, digital twin, battery management system (BMS), programming in MatLab/Simulink, OpenModelica, Python, soft PLC programming using CoDeSys, etc. I earned my Bachelor of Engineering (BE) in Electrical and Electronics Engineering (EEE) from the Malnad College of Engineering (MCE), Hassan, a Master of Technology (MTech) in Control Systems (CS) from Manipal Institute of Technology (MIT), Manipal, and a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in the Instrumentation domain from Homi Bhabha National Institute (HBNI), Bhabha Atomic Research Centre (BARC) (Guide: Prof. Sachin C Patwardhan from IIT Bombay & Dr. Siddhartha Mukhopadhyay from BARC), Mumbai. After completing my BE, I began my career as an Assistant System Engineer at Tata Consultancy Services (TCS), Mumbai. During my MTech, I completed my internship at Power Research and Development Consultants (PRDC), Bengaluru, and GE Digital Energy, Bengaluru. I'm an experienced researcher with a demonstrated history of working in the research institute/industry. I have also published papers during my PhD in international journals like the Journal of Process Control (JPC) and Industrial & Engineering Chemistry Research (IECR) and international IFAC conferences like ADCHEM, DYCOPS, and ACODS.

This work further extended to maximum a-posteriori parameter estimation.Robust versions of RNK by integrating M-estimators with RNK and Robust RNK is further extended to carry out simultaneous state and parameter estimation has been developedAlso a fault tolerant control application to Steam Generator using state and parameter estimation has been developed.

Postgraduate ResearcherManipal Institute Of Technology Aug 2014 - Jun 2015IndiaA project is done on “Modeling & Testing of Protective Distance Relay using Matlab/Simulink Graphical User Interface”.Modeling of protective relays offer an economical and feasible alternative to investigate the performance of relays and protection systems. This project consists of modeling of a distance relay using MATLAB/SIMULINK package which is considered for better understanding of interaction between the relays and power system. SimPowerSystem toolbox is used for modeling of distance relay, transmission line and fault simulation. The proposed model will be verified for different tests, such as fault detection which includes single line to ground (SLG) fault, double line (LL) fault, double line to ground (LLG) fault and three phase fault. A Mho type distance characteristic is chosen to be the protection scheme. A Graphical User Interface (GUI) is created using GUI package inside MATLAB for the developed Simulink model for better understanding. The developed distance relay model may be used as a training tool to understand how the relay works -
