I mentored students taking Thinkful's Front End Web Development course. For a few hours a week, I helped students learning how to code through code examples, assignments, and lessons.

In charge of managing the apps ecosystem at Moovweb. Included evaluating frameworks for internal use, managing app partners & outside vendors, leading development on all apps created at the company, and selling new product features and packages to prospective clients.

Actively managed & supported Moovweb’s biggest client, a Fortune 500 retail organization. Was responsible for running two major e-commerce mobile websites for the client. Was the single point of contact for client’s entire company. Responsibilities included regular development & maintenance of the website, project management, developer training, client & site support, as well as providing technical leadership for the developers and project managers within the organization. Was also responsible for a number of sales initiatives at the company, evangelizing our product & bringing in new business for Moovweb.

Software design, engineering, and consulting.

Worked on a small team of developers and designers to do custom software development for a wide variety of clients including social ventures, non-profits, and startups. Most frequently, worked directly with clients to develop custom web applications using the CakePHP framework as well as native mobile applications for iOS and Android. Occasionally worked on highly customized WordPress sites or UX focused interface design.

Worked on small team developing a suite of Android applications for use on the in-car system. Was involved in the designing, planning, implementation, and testing of the applications. Development involved all aspects of the Android system, including databases, user interfaces, interaction with web services, and hardware compatibility. Focused on designing for user experience and powerful functionality.

Worked on a small team to develop and maintain a widely used enterprise-grade Java web application. Also helped redesign the application for future versions. Was responsible for writing Unix scripts, small web applications, and various other programming tasks.
