My responsibilities:- Formulating an ICT strategy and driving its implementation- Directing all R&D efforts within the company- Managing internal ICT operations- Acquisition of new technologies- Overseeing (technical) services provided by the company to mobile phone operatorsthus supporting Nostromo's 3 business units:1. Mobile Product Development: This unit creates packages of mobile content (apps/games and a great number of phone customization items incl. videos, event-sensitive flash wallpapers, themes, regular wallpapers, logos, ringtones or ringback tones) based on popular brands (Forever Friends, hoops&yoyo, Garfield, Pat&Mat, Mr Bean, Nu Pogodi!, Happy Tree Friends, James Bond, Open Season, Shrek, Madagascar, The Lord of the Rings) as well as any back-end enablers to support it (ie. platforms to customize/deliver the content, tools to create/streamline it or marketing tools like web sites, mobile web sites, white-label microsites, promotional multimedia MMS messages, promotional apps).2. Mobile Operator Services: Nostromo operates a number of platforms on behalf of several mobile operators. These include complete content portals, deployment platforms, infotainment services, SMS/MMS services, payments, streaming, integration of new development partners. This is possible by our direct connections to several key operator systems and of course the platforms we've built over the years in the business.3. Content Distribution in Central ad Eastern Europe and Russia/CIS: Thanks to its local presence - apart from our HQ in Prague, Czech Republic, we have offices in Poland(Warsaw), Russia/CIS(Moscow) and Croatia(Zagreb) - Nostromo is able to master the markets, provide localizations and deliver long term experience in those markets. From an ICT point of view, the success we've had in the territory is enabled by our ability to interconnect with partner systems, translate and localize our products and services/systems and flexibly support any local handsets.
