Responsible team leader with broad knowledge in electronics, telecommunications and networking industry. Skilled in team lead, project management, electronics, network design, laser systems, fiber optics, NI LabVIEW and FTTH technologies. Systematic R&D professional with a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree and passion for optical networking.I first met fiber optics during my Master studies at Czech Technical university in Prague and was honored to broaden my knowledge at Institute of photonics and electronics of Czech Academy of Sciences. Here I mastered theory of fiber optics and learned a great deal of optical laboratory routines. After finishing Master degree, my passion for optics led me to a project of semiconductor lasers bound by optical fields at Tyndall National Institute in Cork, Ireland where I studied dynamics of lasers in unstable systems. Then I returned back to start Doctoral studies at Czech Technical University in Prague and also network engineering position in CESNET. There, I have taken part in number of research projects from design of network elements for optical core networks, introducing new services for precise synchronization of atomic clocks to planning of international fiber networks and leading of international projects. In order to broaden my knowledge I also joined two really interesting projects. First, a startup company that brought innovation in FTTX planning, utilizing computer algorithms to optimize FTTX network design where I contributed with my knowledge of optical network design and architecture. Second, was a project to design control system of Extreme Light Infrastructure facility, where I joined a team of Labview engineers developing real-time components of the control system.Soon after these projects came time to conclude my Doctoral work and I was looking for a fresh challenge in local R&D centers. I joined automotive industry to develop LIDAR technology for Valeo company and took responsibility in LabView architecture for laboratory testing. Later I added responsibility for design of end of line station for LIDARs to validate their optical parameters.Finally when the opportunity came I stepped up to a challenge in leading of development team at RBC Electronics to innovate unattended retail and embedded systems of Smart City projects.
