My initial duties consisted in setting up new internal processes in acquired daughter fashion retail companies: Pietro Filipi and Kara Trutnov. It included the complete overhaul of finance, business intelligence, IT, and logistics. It was relatively easy with regard to the functioning of the finance dept. where I had vast past experience - it meant building from ground up the work-flows, management accounting & reporting, audit, risk, investor & bank relations etc. However, it was quite demanding in logistics where I had to become a fast learner having no prior exposure to the field. I headed a team of around 50 indirect and 10 direct subordinates being responsible for all day-to-day management.
