Parametric optimization of the reflective surface for the russian spacecraft called "Interheliozond". The goal was to limit optical aberrations under extreme thermal conditions so that the surface would satisfy strict optical criterions. That job made me really happy.Also i was conducting R&D for new composite structures in a number of a smaller projects.

Turbine, rotor parts: shafts, impellers, turbine blades, gears, bearing sets, splines, etc. Static parts: bearing stacks, air/oil seals, bolted joints, inlet cases, threaded connections, housings and covers, etc.Crack propagation analysis was conducted for parts with complicated design such as impeller.The analyses were finalized with completion of best practice spreadsheets and analytical summary memos.Quality notification tables were analyzed on regular basis to support engine assembly.I was invited to support the assembly of the first engine of that new design.
