About Pavel Khvaleev

Pavel Khvaleev was born in Naberezhnye Chelny, Russia, on May 27, 1984. In 2004, he founded the music project Moonbeam with his brother. In 2000, they entered the UK DJ Magazine’s annual list of the world's best DJs TOP 100!Since 2008, Pavel has created more than 50 music videos for various artists, receiving several awards at numerous international film festivals.In 2015, Pavel Khvaleev debuted with his first full-length film as the director of the movie “III - The Ritual”. This film has been shown at film festivals from Berlin to Buenos Aires and was under a 3-year contract for worldwide release on NETFLIX. In 2018, Pavel and his team participated in the legendary Sitges Film Festival, where their new movie "Involution," starring actors from the USA, Germany, and Russia, was screened and later released on Amazon Prime.In 2019, Pavel wrote the soundtracks for the documentary “Neill Blomkamp - Instant Future,” released on the French TV channel CANAL+. In 2020, Pavel Khvaleev’s third feature film, “Sleepless Beauty,” premiered at the 54th Sitges Film Festival and was subsequently sold to several countries (North America, Germany, Hungary, Poland, Spain, Japan, India, South Korea, Taiwan).Since 2022, Pavel has been living in Frankfurt am Main, Germany, and has been creating various video content for clients such as ALDI, RTL2, bellicon+, and others.
