Pavel Krömer has received master degree in computer science from the VSB - Technical University of Ostrava in 2006 and PhD in Applied Mathematics from the same institute in 2010.Pavels areas of interest include computational intelligence, information retrieval, world wide web and data mining. His work focuses on development of innovative techniques as well as deployment of intelligent methods in different application domains.He coauthored 70+ papers published in computer science proceedings and journals. He also presented award winning papers at international computer science conferences in 2007 and 2008.Pavel was employed by a large European software company between July 2005 and October 2010. His work assignment was software analyst and developer. He served for more than 5 years as Java and WebSphere MQ developer in an international environment of a major software corporation.Since October 2010, Pavel is assistant professor at the VSB - TU Ostrava.Despite the impression given by this CV, Pavel does not fancy talking about himself in the third person.
