Being curious about the idea of trustless decentralised information systems, such as blockchain, I explored scenarios and challenges of analysing private big data in a zero-trust environment involving multiple parties. This journey led me to discover a Trusted Execution Environment (TEE) technology. Although the TEE concept has been around since 2005, its practical application reached a pivotal early stage in 2015 with the integration into server-grade CPUs pioneered by Intel. Much like how the advent of GPS in smartphones provided new dimensions to the digital environment, TEE-enabled CPUs and GPUs offer a foundational layer of self-sustaining, verifiable trust in computer systems and clouds, enabling a new era for securing digital rights in distributed systems.

Ventured into diverse startups including a secure business messenger, a photographer booking service, a daily rental platform, and a universal loyalty card; exited with experience and a bit of cash. Built and sold four coffee shops and a vintage hostel, having invited operational and investment partners while managing all finances and legal. This journey was fun yet lacked the realisation of my deep tech passion and a meaningful purpose, leading to a pivot towards impactful technology innovation for socially transformative solutions.
