As a software engineering manager, I lead small teams of programmers. 🚀 In order to create successful software projects together, I place particular emphasis on: • Building trust and open communication, which is key to team success. 🤝 • Creating plans that align with the vision and business goals. This way everyone knows the common goal to be achieved (strategy, roadmap). 🗺️🎯 • Ensuring that each team member knows their role and how they contribute to the common goal (responsibilities, expectations) • Setting up the basic principles and processes without which the creation of quality software can't happen. 🛠️🔄 • Giving sincere praise for good work and providing timely feedback (which I also accept) is important to ensure motivation. 🏆🌟 • I create a culture where mistakes and conflicts are a natural part of development and are therefore opportunities for growth and improvement. 🌱🔧 • I help find solutions when conflict arises that are beneficial to the team and the project. 🤔💡For me, the biggest success is when the project goals are achieved, a positive team culture is created and a contribution is made to the overall success of the organization 🌈🚀.My career has evolved like this.I gradually moved from C++ programmer (6 years), Java programmer (4 years), to software development team leader, to analyst, project manager and IT department manager.🔄 Almost all the time I was involved in creating information systems for military platforms and command and control systems for the Czech Army, where I dealt with application integration and system integration. This started my interest in Data Distribution Service (DDS) and Internet of Things (IoT) technology. 🌐💻However, I was very tolerant and ended up working as a Product Owner and Project Manager in addition to a Manager. And it was too much for me🌟. So I burned out🔥. I needed a change, so I quit my job and went freelance, where I was attracted to managing my own time and increasing my efficiency and productivity. 🚶‍⏰I freelanced mostly as a project manager and now I work as a software engineering manager at Mercury MS, s.r.o, a startup offering software for analyzing material property quality using digital image correlation (DIC).
