After successfully jumpstarting the Ukrainian branch of Windows Vista: The Official Magazine, I was asked by the board of directors of MT Media Soft to assume the position of Editor-in-Chief of PC Gamer Ukraine. The magazine at the time suffered from perception problems after a rough start. I was tasked with quickly improving quality of the publication and restoring the trust of the readers. My responsibilities included:- strengthening the editorial team; - rebuilding the editorial process;- improving relations with key video game publishers operating in the Ukrainian market;- making decisions regarding editorial policy;- supervising day-to-day operations of the editorial team, including translations of editorial content from English into Russian.
