Thorsten has been at the forefront of the in situ stabilisation / pavement recycling technology since 1998 and is a global leader experienced in all forms of stabilisation and in particular the foamed bitumen stabilisation technology. Thorsten has been instrumental in founding, chairing industry working groups and developing In Situ Stabilisation Specifications in New Zealand, Western Australia and Germany. Over the past 18 years Thorsten has designed and constructed millions of square meters using in situ stabilisation technologies, both in the capacity of lead designer and constructor. Through long term pavement monitoring Thorsten has gained the experience of the design limits for all types of infrastructure pavements including roads, aircraft pavements, industrial hardstands and container depots. Thereby providing the most cost effective pavement structures for his clients. Thorsten has co-ordinated multi-discipline tender teams to ensure the effective communication and delivery of large infrastructure Design and Construction or Alliance type tenders.
