Part of the core team building Mathesar, an open source project which intends to help users of all skill levels use, extend and visualize their data by providing an intuitive user interface for databases. I work across the stack. I was the initial engineer to start work on the front-end and took complete ownership in picking the stack, establishing the code-base, and directing the front-end architecture. I'm actively involved in shaping the entire project, in terms of product direction.My role additionally involves building an open source community around the project, active collaboration with contributors, documentation, reviewing pull requests, maintenance of the project in general, conducting technical interviews for new positions, and presentations. Our team is entirely remote and all our communications are async.

Part of the Mathesar project, which was hosted by CCI. Mathesar is now part of it's own organization named Mathesar Foundation.

Worked on core services that handled product cataloguing and pricing data on the E-commerce platforms of Falabella (South America's largest retailer) and it's subsidiary Sodimac. My role primarily included requirement analysis, preparing proof-of-concept and development of APIs required by the platform.The entire architecture was micro-service based with the core system containing two individual micro-services: product catalogue and pricing, which were used by higher layers such as the BU teams that handled the site and the logistics teams that handled delivery.My role also included code reviews, cross-team discussions for features being developed, documenting the services for business users, immediate recovery for data sanity issues on production, technical support for the services during sale events which incur higher loads, and conducting technical interviews.Towards the end of my term, I additionally lead the development of an in-house Ratings and Reviews system which also included training and overseeing two interns that worked on it.The role was mostly back-end work in NodeJS, Postgres.Front-end work was in React (For an internal tool used by higher layer teams for easy access to core data)

Single-handedly designed and developed the entire front-end and the required REST APIs, DB schema and operations for our own product which offered Log management solution for SMBs. The product's capabilities included collection, parsing, alerting, indexing, searching, reporting and archiving of logs from several sources such as Operating systems, databases, web servers and custom applications.We were a small team of 3 people and it took us over a year to get a MVP ready. This was an on-premise solution which included Windows and Linux variants. In the end we had to shut it down due to various circumstances, and we never got to register as an official company.Front-end library used was Svelte. Seft-wrote the custom router and all the required UI components.Back-end work was in Java, ElasticSearch, Postgres.Used Figma for UI/UX designing purposes.

Worked across the stack and held responsibility as the primary developer for several key projects in EventLog Analyzer, a SIEM solution from ManageEngine, the Enterprise department of Zoho Corporation (Projects are listed further below).From June 2017, I also mentored and managed my own team of 4 developers.I was also actively a part of several marketing activities such as presenting in technical seminars, webinars, user conference meetups, re-seller meetups and workshops. Projects (All of them were included and released in the product) :1. Event Correlation: Correlating several individual events together and producing actionable reports/alerts based on rules, in an enterprise network.2. In-product Windows machine discovery and device asset management.3. Technician management with domain user discovery.4. Product License management.5. Legacy code migration, which was JSP based to EmberJS and RESTful architecture.Front-end work was on JSP, EmberJS.Back-end work involved Java, Postgres, MSSQL, ElasticSearch.Marketing activities:1. Represented ManageEngine as a speaker on 'A contingency plan for ever-rising cyber threats' in the 'IDC IT Security Summit' held in Muscat, Oman - March 2018.2. Technical one-on-one chair for ManageEngine User Conference in New York, Manhattan - Sep 2017.3. Presenter for several re-seller/general meetups conducted by ManageEngine across India - Chennai, Bangalore and Mumbai.4. Conducted 4 series of technical workshops (each series span over 4 weeks with one workshop per week, totalling 16 individual workshop sessions) and 3 webinars.
