Tellus Therapeutics is developing novel small molecules derived from human maternal breast milk for the treatment of newborns with perinatal brain injury. Tellus' lead candidate, TT-20, induces regeneration of myelin-producing oligodendrocytes, reverses white matter injury in an animal models of perinatal brain injury and multiple sclerosis and is pursuing a novel regulatory path to evaluate safety and efficacy in newborns with brain injury.● Managed pre-clinical studies of small molecule candidates. Utilizing qPCR, immunoassays, single-cell sequencing and microscopy, I measured their efficacy in neural stem cells and a mouse model of white matter injury.
