Internship at Civil Actions Bureau: Special Litigation Division

Key responsibilities: ▪ advising clients on various dispute resolution issues, including commercial dispute resolution, litigation against state authorities and international arbitrations; ▪ developing dispute resolution strategies and representing clients’ interests in hearings before courts on all levels and in all fields of law, including the Supreme Court of Ukraine; ▪ legal support on complex international business transactions (commodity trade, corporate law, M&A);▪ legal due diligence procedures for international clients.

My career at Jurline started directly upon completion of bachelor’s degree in June 2012. After three months of internship I’ve been working as junior associate at the firm. Since July 2013 I'm holding position of an associate at Jurline’s dispute resolution department.Key responsibilities and spheres of practice: - commercial disputes resolution;- litigations with government bodies (Taxation service, Antimonopoly Committee, Custom service);- representation of the clients at oral hearing in courts of all instances, including the Highest Commercial Court of Ukraine, the Highest Administrative Court of Ukraine;- international arbitrations (LMAA, GAFTA);- legal support of international commercial transactions (commodity trade, M&A), including legal due diligence, pre-signing negotiations, drafting of the legal documents;- meetings and negotiations on behalf of the clients;- speaking at legal conferences; - preparation of legal reports and opinions.
