- Responsible to develop the export network with priority in the Balkans; within the 2nd year of operation, export level “reached” 10% of the total turnover, in countries like : Romania, Bulgaria, FYROM, Albania, Cyprus, Italy, & Hungary - Business Development manager (in charge of establishing a joint-venture in Bucharest/Romania) - Involved in the purchase department aiming to find new sources of supply

- Rehabilitation of the existing company in Hungary - Increased (tripled) sales volume within a period of 12 months

- “Deliver” the Business Plan to the General Mangement of the company- Responsible for the foundation of the new company in FYROM (legal form, finding &renting of the warehouses, hiring & training of personnel)

- Developed this stockholdng & trading company in order to sale the group’s products in Romania, like aluminium and copper profiles & sheets, copper bars, brass and steel tubes, round & rectangular hollow sections and magnet wire.- Oversaw all accounting, reporting, legal and administrative issues.- Hired and trained salesforce and company personnel of 20.- Organized 5,000 m2 warehousing (covered space), distribution and logistics.- Established sales channels, clientele and sales policy per product group.

- Headed exports for the biggest greek producer of steel long products.- Initiated markets of Albania, Bulgaria, Yugoslavia, FYROM, Kossovo & Egypt.- Organized exports and over-doubled the exported quantity from 29’000 mt to 71,000 mt

- Headed salesforce for steel merchant bars and wire products. - Doubled the sales performance from 1’900 mt/month to 3’400 mt/month

- Directed sales for the biggest importer of Romanian steel products in Greece.- Heavily involved in setting up and completing barter deals internationally (coal/iron ore versus steel and bauxite versus aluminium)

- Assisted in establishing the Greek office and developing local clientele.- Traded steel, copper, zinc, lead, coal, iron ore.- Handled L/Cs & Bank Guarantees and shipping of traded commodities.- Promotion of refracory masses from Lafarge Refractaires Monolithic
