Pavlos A. Vlachos (Ph.D) is the Theodore Papalexopoulos Chair in Sustainability and Professor of Marketing at Alba Graduate Business School (AGBS), The American College of Greece [with Tenure], where he has served as the Academic Director of the Alba MBA. He is teaching Marketing Strategy & Analytics and Corporate Social Responsibility and Sustainability. His current research interests include (macro and micro) Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and organizational social evaluations (organizational reputation, organizational stigma). He serves as an Associate Editor at the Journal of Business Research (Sustainability/Ethics section). His work has appeared or is in press in Harvard Business Review, Organizational Behavior & Human Decision Processes, Journal of Management Studies, Human Relations, Journal of Organizational Behavior, Journal of the Academy of Marketing Science, Tourism Management, European Journal of Information Systems, Journal of Business Ethics, Industrial Marketing Management, International Journal of Human Resource Management, European Journal of Marketing, and Journal of Business Research among others.He has been awarded a PriceWaterhouseCoopers scholarship for academic excellence, a best paper award at the 16th European Conference of Information Systems and he has been a recipient of a Unilever Research grant. He has active participation in EU-funded research projects and before joining the academia he has worked as marketing and sales assistant for a major publishing house in Greece.
