Scalable solution running in Kubernetes cluster. Fast paced minimum viable product project from scratch. Development of complex information system for health insurance company: - Development of new features, usually implementation of new legislation or minor features. Maintenance of legacy codebase - Back end development: new business logic features, working with in-house ORM library based on JPA - creation of new database entities - Front end development: Development of UI using in-house java based framework for UI behavior and in-house UI "drawing" tool for the UI design/layout - Analyzing and fixing longstanding bugs from production/test environments - Techstack: Java 8, SQL (Informix dbs), Spring - Collaboration: Agile (scrum), JIRA, mercurial

Development and Level 3 support for Markit EDM application, daily communication in English with the team, the business users and members from the other teams/companies which interacted with our Markit EDM application. Development consisted of creating new Markit components, creating database objects such as views, tables, stored procedures (TSQL) in order to implement new functionality, bugfixing, code review, QA - Manual testing and user acceptance testing. Level 3 support consisted of creating, managing and answering user's requests via ticketing system and emails. We would provide technical help with using the Markit, knowledge sharing about how some of the processes function, document change requests from the business users, hunt for bugs in the system. Lastly, as a part of L3 support we had 24/7 on call on which I was for a week, every three weeks. The main responsibility of the on call person was to fix issues in critical processes ASAP at any point during the week. Other than that, document the cause of failures and if need be, investigate further and take necessary steps to fix the issues permanently (contact other teams in case there was a problem with the data from other systems, document bugfixes for devs etc.)

I was tasked with looking up what kind of data is available, in what quality and how it could be used to create a dataset to accommodate the project's needs. The job was mainly about finding whats available, figuring out how to use the data to derive what was actually needed for the project and reporting this to the client on bi-weekly basis. The task resulted in about 30 reports with possible data sources, their structure and notes about what could be used for the project. I have worked on this solo and communication with the client was in written and spoken English.
