Lead Clinical Data Science Programmer
CurrentAs a lead database programmer, I am responsible for developing clinical databases using Medidata’s Rave or Oracle Clinical according to study protocol. My responsibilities to the project starts with the database build and continues until the study database has been locked.▪️ Create and maintain the eCRF system for the duration of the study. This includes making database updates due to protocol changes or other issues and database migration.▪️ Program data validations (edit checks), dynamics derivations and custom functions.▪️ Work collaboratively with lead data managers and multiple functional groups including external CROs/Vendors where applicable, to complete EDC build tasks per agreed timelines.▪️ Work with vendors to create Data Transfer Specs. Receive and process the data. Create SAS programs to reconcile lab data transfers.▪️ Create data snapshot and provide support during database lock and post data lock subject data archival processes.▪️ Provides ongoing clinical database support to data management and other members of the study team. ▪️ Contribute strategies as well as innovative and creative solutions to enhance processes and increase productivity of the group.▪️ Be a mentor to junior resources and help perform QC of other team member’s builds.▪️ Support development and maintenance of data management SOPs and WIs.▪️ Provide leadership and consultation in the area of database design and development with Data Managers and external CROs/Vendors where applicable.
