After a brief stint with industry, I started my academic career as a faculty member at IHM Panipat. Besides teaching, I have also handled Training & Placement Cell at IHM Panipat. In the year 1998, I joined Department of Hotel Management & Catering Technology, MJP Rohilkhand University, Bareilly and established the department from scratch and was instrumental in getting the approval of AICTE for BHMCT program. The department became first university department to run AICTE approved BHMCT program in the country. I have numerous papers presented in national/interational conferences and in journals of repute. I have been member of Board of Studies and of Faculty Board of various universities. I have been Vice Chancellor's nominee in interview boards of various universities for selection of Directors and of faculty members.I had opportunity to discuss academic partnerships with leading foreign universities/institutions looking for partners in India. I have worked at IHM Hamirpur in Himachal as Principal and also had additional charge of Principal of FCI at Dharamshala.Presently I am Principal at IHM Yamunanagar .
