Part of Second Line of Defense at RHI where I am responsible for oversight and development of a robust risk and controls framework as well as providing assurance of the established Policies and Controls:• Responsible for supporting the design, development, delivery and maintenance of the OR framework for the Bank to execute key Second Line of Defense activities; in particular, providing a consistent approach to the assurance of OR Policy Chapters, encompassing data capture / quality control, investigation, reporting & analysis, per the key responsibilities detailed below.• Interacting with business-facing 2LOD Operational Risk teams on the validation of first line of defence (1LOD) compliance with identified minimum standards; and ensuring clear, simple, quick and consistent communication with relevant OR teams to meet key regulatory and internal reporting and deadlines, including escalation of non-compliance exceptions.

• Risk Consulting services to support Risk Community (FLOD & SLOD) for one of the Australia's leading financial services firm.• Instrumental in setting up new controls & reviewing existing controls for the client.• Implementation and monitoring of Operational Risk Framework• Reporting and Monitoring of Key Risk Indicators• Development and delivery of various Risk Reports• Review of Risk Profiles developed at various level such as Functional and Divisional level• Support provided to log Incidents at various divisional level. Monitoring of Incidents via various reporting tools/methods• Administrative management of the Group Operational Risk system

Part of First Line of Defence where I was responsible for:• Process Specific (ii) Regulatory (iii) Generic Control Testing for multiple functions to check the adequacy and effectiveness of the Controls.• Review of test papers periodically on adequacy of ‘Key’ and ‘Standard’ controls.• Manage ‘Operational Risks’ and build a culture of ‘Control’• Root Cause Analysis on identified risk events • Engagement with ORM (2nd LOD), GIA (3rd LOD) and Onshore Risk Teams (Central Risk Team) • Knowledge of industry and regulatory standards of ORM, such as Basel Standards, AML and SOX 404 guidelines.• Risk & Control Self-Assessment• SOX 404
