Project: AMLS (Anti Money Laundry System)AMLS is one of the projects bundled under the Project Matterhorn II program, it is the direct result of the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS) inspection andthe IT comments that they highlighted to the Bank. AMLS – Anti Money Laundering Solution is the bank’s tool to monitor suspicious transactions based on defined thresholds or activity pattern, in order for the Bank to observe its regulatory obligations under MAS Notice 626 on Prevention of Money Laundering & Countering the Financing of Terrorism. AMLS captures cash/ funds transactions arising from a customer’s current accounts (i.e. funds transfers) it also captures suspicious transactions relating to securities. AMLS Phase II addresses the capability of AMLS to monitor security transactions. The project also aims at improvising on the existing AMLS system by collating the feedback and change requests received from the end users. Project: Client Grouping ClientGrouping is project that has helped Credit, Finance and Compliance department to group the accounts in structured way to report the risk and exposure at aggregated level. Project serves as a utility to different departments of the banks that help them to either have composite view of the all-related accounts or to help to generate reports that can be submitted to authorities like MAS (Monetary authority of Singapore) or HKMA (Hong Kong Monetary Authority).Grouping rules in the application can be configured dynamically and changed easily so that certain rules which is not finalized or change that comes in picture can easily be achieved in production as well.
