CurrentBeing the key member of Mahan Aluminium Project (A Green Field Project of Hindalco Ind Ltd.) responsible for implementation of HSE Management System since Dec'2009 onwards.Job Responsiblities Includes:Established Health, Safety & Environment function at Mahan Aluminium Project & integrated it with Corporate HSE Functions & Business Process of Organization. Developed Project HSE Manual, HSE Plan, Safety Procedure, Work Instruction, Checklist, On Site Emergency Plan etc & assisting line management in implementation same.Provide guidelines on project safety requirements for incorporation in vendors documents in order to ensure clarity is provided to the vendors on safety requirements for inclusion in their quotation.Participate in negotiation meetings with the contractors to review the incorporation of required safety parameters.Review safety plan prepared by the contractor and highlight changes/ revisions.Continuous monitoring of the health of HSE Plan through reviews, inspection, audit – reporting to Top Management, obtaining feedback to achieve continual improvement.Coordinating and communicating with contractors, internal functions and external agencies (Govt. Authorities) to settle HSE issues and diverse opinions. Investigate and report accidents – administer corrective action and preventive action and follow up for logical conclusion. Identify operational hazards, assess risk & ensure implementation of controls.Carried out Pre Start-up Safety Review (PSSR) of upcoming Smelter facilities.Develop, deliver and organize HSE training for awareness, sensitization and capacity building within project partner.Secured all critical statutory approvals in the area of Safety from concern statutory authorities.Enhance HSE visibility through innovative and traditional campaign. Deployed Management of Safety during construction phase, with on - site contract workforce deployment of avg. 20,0000 daily.
