As a chief officer I have been responsible for managing day-to-day operations and management of a crew on board a ship including implementing strategies, plans and objectives, complying various international regulations, and monitoring performance of the crew.Also providing/conducting various training sessions for the crew on board. While looking after the operational front and crew monitoring, I have been taking care of the safety aspects on board, carrying out various inspections and planning maintenance of the shipboard equipment. Dealing with third parties w.r.t cargo planning and other shipboard matters.To sum up I am well experienced in a wide variety of skills which puts me at a superior position when it comes to manage a group of people, motivate them, monitor progress of assigned task, handling multicultural / multi back-ground people efficiently. Excellent communication, problem-solving, multi-tasking and critical thinking skills.
