Head of Production deptt of STATCON ENERGAA for Solar Inverters (Offgrid, Hybrid & Grid-Tied), String Combiner/Monitoring Unit, AJB, MJB, ACDB, DCDB, Industrial Battery Chargers (Float cum Boost), Dischargers, SMPS Based Chargers & IPS for Indian Railways, GPRS Based Remote Monitoring Systems, Ground Power Unit (GPU for Defence Aircraft) and two in-house intermediate product -Transformers & PCB Cards used in main product.Production staff is 20 Nos. and 100 direct STATCON ENERGIAA workers and 100 contract /casual workers.In Production Department, there is separate manufacturing set-up, separate resources, skill-set, separate supervisor & separate area for every product.In nutshell, my role is:• Plant Operations• Day to day Production mgmt. • Material Planning & Management• Production Planning & Control.• Contract Manufacturing & Job Work• Cost Innovation• Packaging & Dispatch

Carried out site surveys to check the feasibility for SPV project installation.Quality Assurance for all off grid and grid connected SPV Project.Selection, Evaluation and Approval of Suppliers in terms of System, Process and Product Quality through technical visits, audits, product testing etc.Ensuring through Proto/PDI inspection that all procured product meets drawings, specifications, processes requirement etc.Preparation of Quality reports of SPV projects and circulate to senior management and team members.Co-ordination and ensuring acceptance of SPV projects from Customers.Making and submitting project quality manual to customer and taking feedback.

Co–ordination with suppliers to develop the sample product as per drawing/specification requirement.Ensuring good quality product at project site by implementing effective packaging & stuffing techniques to avoid delay in project execution due to rework & rejection.Carry out regular internal audits to ensure systems & procedures are followed without any deviations.Good experience in making relevant documents i.e.-Quality Plan, Procedures. Working Instruction, Inspection Checklist & SOPs as per IMS Norms.Review & monitoring monthly target Vs achievement & strategizing to ensure desired results are achieved. Troubleshooting of technical and field problem and ensure its CAR.Monitoring & ensuring all inputs for preparation of Supplier Quality Rating.Develop & organize regular supplier training events on various relevant topics.

Focusing on optimization of process parameters and initiating process improvements for achieving bottom line objectives and productivity targets.Reviewing existing processes and re-designing the same for enhancing operational efficiency and achieving maximum cost savings.Reduction of manpower by improving work practices, reducing the manual workload & multi skill of the available manpower.Ensuring training of all associates as per Skill Matrix & Training Need Identification Process

Handling manpower and preparing shift IPQC & PPM report. Organize quality activities on the given module to ensure least rejection and optimum productivity, deployment of man power and job assignment.To identify top defects thru Pareto chart and find out root cause using various statistical tools as an active member of trouble shooting STF team.Reduction of Cost of Quality (COQ) thru various improvement activities using DMAIC approach.Design the internal audit check sheets & conduct regular audit to check system compliance.
